Bringing it back to when experimental builders ruled the land, the Capita x Spring Break Tree Hunter Snowboard is the brainchild of Corey Smith's avant garde designs and Capita's decade plus of board building experience. Taking inspiration from surfing's high buoyancy designs, the Tree Hunter Snowboard floats over the deepest powder imaginable with its massive set back stance and highly tapered swallowtail shape. With 42 millimeters of taper, the Tree Hunter Snowboard is one of the most highly tapered boards we've ever seen, helping you keep your nose up for near zero gravity float atop the world's deepest powder. No matter if you're cat boarding in BC's interior or riding pow in Alaska's Chugach range, the Tree Hunter keeps you stoked on shredding pow, not helplessly submerged beneath it. Exclusive to the Capita x Spring Break series, the Tree Hunter's Surf Rocker offers zero camber underfoot and a Surf Rock nose and tail for insane float on bottomless days. A DynaWeave fiberglass configuration ensures your board stays strong while remaining lightweight to give you ultimate control over sharp slashes. Inside this pow specific weapon, you'll find a Surflite core that's designed exclusively for riding powder. This core is based on the surfing premise that thicker, less dense boards float with higher buoyancy, allowing you to ride on top of the snow instead of sinking in. Translated to snow specific design, Capita used a thicker core with blocked balsa wood and reinforced it with forged carbon for added durability. Furthermore, you'll find this collaborative board has a striking hand marbled topsheet that's unique to each individual deck for special edition appeal.
