Scott Stevens is a wizard when he's on a snowboard, and the wand he uses to conduct his freestyle sorcery is his Capita Pro Model Snowboard. This versatile deck offers plenty of pop for park trickery, a smooth, forgiving ride, and serious durability to withstand seasons in the streets. The Freestyle FK profile is mostly flat to give it a stable feel, with rocker at the tips for catch free forgiveness that lets you get loose from the slopes to the streets. This board has a smooth medium flex that presses like a dream but still offers enough response to rip around the mountain outside of the park lanes. DynaWeave fiberglass features a resin application borrowed from the marine industry that yields much stronger and more rigid qualities, allowing Capita to decrease the thickness of the wood core and shave weight. Originating from hardened lava, basalt beams improve pop and response while also dampening the ride. The beams are pre cured in an arched shape that counters the board's profile for a pre loaded effect that offers twice the pop and response. Starting with a lightweight, yet strong blend of poplar and paulownia woods, the Cork Inlayed Pro core also features natural cork recessed into 30% of the core for a smoother ride and improved durability. Cork is also placed around the edges to enhance impact resistance so the board can take more of a beating from bashed rails and bonked trees. Rounding it all out is an Omega Speed sintered base that absorbs more wax than standard sintered bases for seriously fast and long lasting speed.
