Taking the all mountain awesomeness of the Evil Twin, Bataleon added an asymmetrical sidecut to create the Evil Twin Asym Snowboard. A deeper heel sidecut delivers greater edge hold and turn initiation so you'll rip harder carves and have more control on heelside takeoffs. In addition to a deeper heel sidecut, the Evil Twin Asym also features Asym Triple Base Technology. For those unfamiliar, Triple Base Technology starts with a traditional camber profile for reliable pop and edge hold, and turns the edges up towards the tip and tail to eliminate hang ups when riding flat base, giving the board the forgiving feel of rocker without sacrificing the benefits of camber. On the Asym version of this, the heel edge sidebase begins closer to the tips than the toe edge sidebase to make heelside turn initiation quicker and more dynamic while maintaining a looser feel on the toe edge. Triax glass provides the stiffness and response you need for picking apart technical lines, yet it's still flexible enough to press in the park. Poplar wood keeps the Core Core lightweight and snappy, and hardwood reinforcements running down the insert rows increase strength and channel energy to deliver more pop. A true twin shape allows for unrestricted switch riding, and blunt tips keep the swing weight down. It's finished off with a sintered base that's super hard for impact resistance and holds tons of wax to keep you moving fast.
