Nobody ever earned a reputation because they were goody good two shoes full of pleases and thank yous. You get known by doing your own thing, throwing up two fingers to the haters, and stomping the bejeezus out of your next cork 12 on the Atomic Infamous Ski. The brainchild of Jossi Wells, the Infamous is all about doing things its own way, with a soft flex and more rocker in the tip and tail than its brother, the Punx. The upshot is that you can get as loose, buttery, and creative as you want while you're boosting off the super poppy wood core and rugged Step Down 2. 0 sidewalls. The smooth, rockered tip and tail lets you butter and schmear like a bagel shop, while the Stomp Sidecut bigger radius at the tip and tail means you won't hook up an edge to easily or wash out on a landing. You'll still be able to carve hard into pipe walls and takeoffs, though, with plenty of camber underfoot, so you won't find yourself sliding off a step up head first.
