What to do with 28,000 lbs. worth of water bottles That's what we found ourselves asking when we pulled polycarbonate bottles from the shelves due to growing concerns over BPA. Rather than send 7 railroad cars full of thousands of bottles to landfills, we teamed up with Aladdin® to create the recycled and repurposed eCycle® travel mug. Double walled mug places repurposed polycarbonate in the outer body where it is completely out of contact with your beverage. All food contact surfaces are 100% BPA free, including the inner body, which is made with recycled polypropylene. Altogether the mug is made from 85% recycled content and 30% post consumer content. Sized to fit in most car cup holders, the mug travels easily to work or class flip top lid closes securely to limit spills en route. Double wall construction keeps beverages warm. Mug is dishwasher safe and microwave safe remove lid before microwaving.
