Aku didn't make the Tribute II LTR Men's Hiking Boot to the exact specs of your foot how could they' but the fit wouldn't be much different if they had. The secret is in the polyurethane midsole, which is injected into the shoe in liquid form so it conforms precisely to the shape of the last as it cools, providing an incredibly precise and supportive fit that works together perfectly with the Anatomical Fit last. It provides pronation support at push off and supination support upon foot strike, which mirrors the way you walk, reducing fatigue and the potential for injury when you're moving over rocky, slippery, or uneven terrain. The Tribute also rocks a removable EVA footbed and medium stff TPU lasting board for cushioning and easy heel to toe foot roll. It's plenty supportive, too, with an Exoskeleton chassis that provides extra side to side rigidity in the heel to prevent ankle rolling and a Vibram Sendera rubber sole that's engineered to make short work of moderate mountains, muddy trails, and slick grass.
