If you've ever seen Wiley Miller ski, you probably know what to expect from his signature YLE Ski from 4FRNT. Wiley's all about deep pow, big airs, and progressive tricks, and his signature backcountry stompin' stick is being offered in limited run graphics inspired by Saga, his outerwear sponsor. 4FRNT's only producing a few pairs, too, so jump on this gravy train before it pours its way out of the station. Nothing's different about the YLE Saga except the graphics. It's built with a pow crushing, air stomping 119mm waist, camber underfoot, and a rockered tip and tail, so you can slash your way through the deepest of the deep, take cliffs and backcountry booters to your feet like it's no big deal, and maintain just enough edge hold to bust through crud and carve your way into the next takeoff. The Hi Lite poplar and ash core gives you a solid platform and plenty of pop, and the semi cap construction keeps weight down at the tips and tails for easy spinning without giving up underfoot edging and durability. 4FRNT wasn't content to just slap wood inside the YLE and call it good, though. It sandwiched the core between two fiberglass layers for stability and stiffness, and then laid down its vibration dampening VibeVeil laminate to reduce high speed chatter and instability. ABS sidewalls underfoot prevent the ski from twisting when you're banging out a gotta make it turn, and the full wrap edges provide durable grip when you have to endure some hardpack to make it down your secret booter.
