Shaped by Kye Petersen, the 4FRNT Kye 110 Ski was designed and built to match Kye's fast and fluid big mountain brand of skiing. The moderately sized 110 sits between the 120 and 95 options in 4FRNT'S all new Kye series and is the most versatile in the line. At first glance, the Kye may seem reminiscent of the successful Hoji or Renegade, but with a heavy dose of camber underfoot, the only thing the Kye shares with either of these skis is an appetite for big mountain descents. The Kye 110 is a stiffer ski than its powder crushing big brother, the Kye 120, since it has a scaled down tail rocker that delivers a solid and stable feel in wind effected snow and spring conditions. With a waist width hovering around 110 in all lengths and ample rocker in the tip, the Kye 110 offers plenty of float for all but the deepest days. New to this year is 4FRNT's VibeVeil technology, which consists of a elastic membrane laminated in the tip and tail rocker of the ski to eliminate chatter for a solid and stable feel when skiing fast in variable conditions. A full length wood core combined with 4FRNT's semi cap construction with ABS sidewalls only adds to the Kye's overall stability, making it a true big mountain ski that will handle just about any surface condition the mountain can throw at it.
