Sports Illustrated Mentions the Manitou Incline
When I was hiking the Manitou Incline on Sunday, a couple guys told me there was supposed to be an article about it in Sports Illustrated. I haven't seen the print magazine but I did find an article on their website.
The article is about the Olympic Training Center. It talks about how local athletes and Olympic hopefuls use the Manitou Incline as a proving ground.
"The Incline is the source of local bragging rights," says triathlete Mark Fretta, who holds the ascent's unofficial record of 16 minutes, 42 seconds, "because people from every sport try to conquer it."

Looks like an interesting article in the battle to keep the USOC in Colorado Springs. Chicago has none of the above!
